The SCX Group companies have all been certified once again to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, but this time by BM TRADA; meaning the enforcement of a more intense and demanding audit process.
Previously accredited through an alternative provider, the SCX Group is looking into expanding its certification standards, and BM TRADA offers this wider range that is being considered.
Being accredited by an alternative provider meant more in-depth analysis of each of the group company’s systems, procedures and processes, in order to demonstrate full capability to the new auditors.
ISO 9001 accreditation, the International Quality Management Standard, ensures that the Group’s products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is continuously improved.
ISO 14001 accreditation, the International Environmental Management Standard, demonstrates the Group’s commitment to the environment, in terms of its operations and reduction of materials use.
OHSAH 18001 accreditation, the International Occupational Health & Safety Management Standard, provides a framework for the proper and effective management of health & safety in the workplace.
The attainment of these accreditations demonstrates the SCX Group’s commitment to improving company performance and productivity, but is only one part of its commitment to continual improvement of management systems.
The SCX Group will continue to cascade the attainment to its suppliers and customers, with the express intent of encouraging these organisations to be equally committed to Quality, the Environment and Health & Safety.
